Here Fishy, Fishy, Fishy!

Now we usually go surfcasting off the rocks, partly because we don’t have a boat but mainly because it’s just what we like to do. This year we fought down thoughts of our usual sea sickness and had a brilliant time fishing from the mussel barge up at Coromandel…

I had some old black wool material which has now been washed and dried in a hot drier until it is well and truly felted. It’s now perfect for making an oven cloth.

I succumbed to a hankering I had to see what a afghan square tunic would look like. I will henceforth remind myself “DO NOT succumb to such temptation, it is not a good look on you”. The squares are now made up into a blanket which is where they should have stayed…
