Yay for the internet for freebie patterns. I found this clutch purse pattern which I couldn’t resist making up. Next time I’ll put batting in it to give it more body.

The first stage of renovations are completed at the resthome and we have passed the hospital level audit. To go along the main coridor I’ve just finished this New Zealand bush scene quilt with a fair smattering of the native birds and flora that you’d find on our local Mount Maungatautari ‘ecological island.’ I used photos as the actual patterns.

At 2.8m it's a fairly long hanging

Busy Fingers

I’ve been working on a large wall hanging for the rest home but needed some quick projects to get that ahh, I’ve finished feeling. J o needed a new woolly hat for Reuben so I found these cute patterns on the net.

And then I still had the knitting bug so made an aeroplane! Now I’m all knitted out and back to the wall hanging quilt.
