I’m still on a baby stuff streak at the moment although I feel the need to quilt building up. I found an easy to follow tutorial for a bandana bib on Desert Rose Designs’ blog, with an accurate pattern to print out.

And then I had fun taking a photo of the sleeping sack with the cows being ever so curious about what was going on. The bulls turned up but weren’t impressed.

Mixing it up

Amused myself with a variety this week, a crocheted chevron cot blanket, made a display board from a warehouse cork board and knitted a knotted stripey hat which I think is the cutest – yay for ‘Sublime’ patterns.

Ha! Remember this style from the 1970’s! I seem to remember a pattern similar to this one at home, so decided to have a go with op shop fabrics.

The colour was determined by what was available in Putaruru – not a huge range I must confess, but I’ve already worn the outcome before I lost my nerve.
