Posts Tagged ‘hexes ball quilt’

At long last I found a wall hanging on line that helped me use up the hexagon flower patches that I hand pieced ages ago. It’s a ‘hexes ball quilt’ which entails you sewing your hexes together then boldly cutting out a circle and quilting them onto a whole cloth background. It wasted quite a few of the outer blocks but I’m happy to hang the finished result on a wall at Rangiura. It also allowed some serious machine quilting 🙂
